The Association
of Friends of All Hallows Hospital was formed in 1976 to
organize fund-raising events and to recruit members in order
to provide funds for the hospital, which are always
desperately needed.
Our aim is to increase membership, whenever possible, and
maintain a high level of fund-raising. Over the past years
the Friends have raised over £275,000 which has been used in
numerous ways.
The hospital has strong links with the surrounding health
care providers, the Bungay GP practice and social service
agencies together with voluntary associations. This
interaction enables the highest quality care for all.
The Friends have been fortunate more recently in attracting
legacies and money in lieu of flowers from bereavements,
which in turn benefit the hospital and its patients.
As well as the contributions mentioned above, the hospital
has also benefited from the Covenants and Gift Aid which go
direct to the hospital. If you would like to become a
‘Friend’, which would help us considerably with this work,
please
email us, indicating which method of payment you would
prefer to use. If you wish to subscribe by Gift Aid, the
hospital will be able to recover Income Tax which you have
paid; this will increase the value of your subscription by
28%.
